A practical guide to Biblical Tithing
In coaching people to manage their finances, I often encounter people who have dedicated a portion
of their income toward a church, a charity or the support of some ministry. As an ordained minister
in an inter-denominational church, I served as Pastor of Education in a congregation in New York
City for a number of years and it’s part of my personal mission to help people get their finances in
line, especially if their finances are dedicated to the service of God. I don’t often bring up the spiritual
aspects of finances unless my client first mentions it but once he or she does, the minister in me
takes over.
